Underground Pipework Repair for a Property Management Company

The Task: A property management company required urgent repair and realignment of a damaged underground pipe stack at one of their sites. The project needed to be completed within a strict two-day window to minimise disruption to the property and its occupants.
Scope of Work:
The client required urgent repair and realignment of a damaged underground pipe stack, with all works needing to be completed within a tight two-day timeframe. This involved excavating and exposing the existing pipework, replacing the damaged lower section of the stack, and fully reinstating the surrounding area once repairs were complete. The scope covered all labour, materials, and waste disposal associated with the project.   What We Did: Once excavation began, our team discovered a large volume of buried rubble, which made digging significantly more difficult than anticipated. This unforeseen obstacle threatened to slow progress and risked missing the tight deadline. To overcome this, we adapted quickly—bringing in breakers to tackle the rubble and utilising a combination of hand tools and power equipment to maintain efficiency. Our experienced operatives managed the excavation, realignment, and reinstatement works with precision and care, ensuring safety and quality standards were upheld throughout. The Outcome: Despite the unexpected site conditions, the repair was completed on time and to a high standard within the two-day schedule. The client was extremely pleased with the results, commending the team’s professionalism, problem-solving ability, and adaptability under pressure. The project demonstrated Marlin Environmental’s ability to deliver efficient, high-quality drainage repairs, even under challenging circumstances.
